Pierogi Holiday Gift Guide

Your one-stop guide for the pierogi-themed gifts you never knew you needed.

I think we all can agree, 2020 has been a strange and challenging year for almost everyone. But this year has also pushed people to do things they wouldn’t normally do, take up new hobbies, finish (or start) projects that have been on their to-do list for years. (In fact, this blog is a direct result of my 2020 quarantine).

So as we prepare for the end of 2020 and the start of the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to publish my first Pierogi holiday gift guide. Want to start making pierogi? I got you covered. Want to look cute in your next Zoom call, check out my guide to pierogi fashion. Need to freshen up your living space, look no further!

These are just a few of the cute and creative pierogi-themed items I found on the internet. If you have any other suggestions, please drop some links in the comment section or hit me up on social media. Let’s keep this list growing.

So you want to start making pierogi. You couldn’t have picked a better time. Pierogi are a stable of Polish Christmas Eve dinners (Wigilia). These items will get you started. And if you don’t want to commit to a $50 pasta roller, a rolling pin will always do. While I recommend making your own sauerkraut (look for my family recipe in an upcoming blog), Cleveland Kitchen makes a darn good kraut.

Admit it, we’ve all made some crazy online purchases this year. So why stop now. These items are fun, colorful, and sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Perfect for the fashionista in your life.

Here are my suggestions (clockwise starting top left) :

  • This onsie is a must have for all those 2020 Corona babies.

  • Show off your Pittsburgh or Cleveland pierogi pride with these hot tops (they also come in other styles/fits).

  • Want to commemorate the first pierogi you made with your grandma or the your 100th pierogi you made this pandemic, this delicate charm is a great way to memorialize it.

  • For the person who has everything, I bet they don’t have pierogi socks.

  • And finally, these bags are legit cute. They will be by go-to totes, once we can leave the house again.
